Introduction
AnCaBu50 aims to enable owners of historic mechanical analog cameras to creatively use these fine devices even when the exposure meter is broken. The app turns a smartphone into an exposure meter that measures the light reflected by the object. From the result of that gauging, AnCaBu50 deduces a solid exposure proposal, using a simple program automatic. Moreover, this proposal can be changed freely in any photographic parameters, in a sense of a “What, if...” analysis. Also, the effects to the depth of field is calculated immediately. Finally, the optimal exposure settings are transferred manually to the analog camera device, and the shooting may begin. But even without any shooting situation in practice, AnCaBu50 may be used to verify the correctness of historic cameras exposure meters, and enables everyone everywhere and at any time to train his “photographic eye”.

Also, remember that all calculated values regarding Depth of field (Near/m Far/m) and Hyperfocal distance (Hfd.) are valid only for 50 mm cameras (full-frame, 24 x 36 mm) and for a 50 mm focal length lens. For all other frame sizes, and for all other focal lengths, the results are more or less incorrect!

Der Jungbrunnen für Deine mechanische Analog-Kamera!
Einführung
AnCaBu50 will Freunden historischer mechanischer Analogkameras helfen, ihre Lieblinge auch dann noch kreativ zu nutzen, wenn deren Belichtungsmessung ausgefallen ist. Sie verwandelt das Smartphone in einen Belichtungsmesser, der das vom Objekt reflektierte Licht mißt. Aus dem Ergebnis der Lichtmessung leitet AnCaBu50 mit Hilfe einer Programmautomatik einen Belichtungsvorschlag ab, der dann mit der App im Sinne einer „Was wäre, wenn“ - Analyse in allen photographischen Parametern frei variiert werden kann. Auch die Einflüsse auf die Tiefenschärfe können sofort abgelesen werden. Abschließend wird die gewonnene Belichtungseinstellung manuell auf die Analog-Kamera übertragen, und das Shooting kann beginnen! Aber auch ganz ohne konkrete Aufnahmesituation kann das korrekte Arbeiten der Belichtungsmesser historischer Kameras überprüft werden, und jedermann kann zu jeder Zeit und an jedem Ort mit dieser App sein „photographisches Auge“ schulen.
AnCaBu50 ist also
- ein externer Belichtungsmesser für mechanische Analogkameras
- ein Prüfwerkzeug für Belichtungsmesser historischer Kameras
- eine Rechner, der den Einfluß einzelner photographischer Parameter auf alle anderen Parameter in Echtzeit darstellt
- eine „Trainingsgerät“ für das „photographische Auge“
Damit ist auch klar, was AnCaBu50 nicht leistet: es ist
- keine App, um mit dem Smartphone Bilder aufzunehmen
- keine App, um auf dem Smartphone vorhandene Bilder zu bearbeiten

Die App AnCaBu50 speichert keinerlei private Daten auf dem Gerät. Die App AnCaBu50 greift auf keinerlei private daten auf dem Gerät zu. Die App AnCaBu50 überträgt keinerlei private oder sonstige Daten auf irgendwelche Server oder andere Geräte.
Haftungsausschluß
Trotz sorgfältiger Entwicklungsarbeit und umfangreicher Tests kann keine Garantie für die Korrektheit der gemessenen Belichtung, der von AnCaBu50 berechneten Ergebnisse, und für die Korrektheit und Vollständigkeit der Dokumentation übernommen werden. Der Hersteller der App AnCaBu50 ist weder verantwortlich für etwaige Fehlbelichtungen von Analogfilmen, noch für irgendwelche anderen Schäden, die durch die App selbst, ihre Anwendung für bestimmte Aufgaben, oder durch fehlerhafte bzw. fehlende Angaben in der Dokumentation verursacht werden. Durch die Benutzung der App AnCaBu50 akzeptiert der Nutzer diese Nutzungsbedingungen.
Zudem wird ausdrücklich darauf hingewiesen, dass die Ergebnisse von AnCaBu50 bezüglich der berechneten Tiefenschärfe und der Hyperfokaldistanz prinzipbedingt ausschließlich für das Kleinbildformat 24x36mm in Verbindung mit einem 50mm-Normalobjektiv gültig sind.
